Bellator 267 featured the highly anticipated rematch between MVP (Michael Venom Page) vs. Douglas Lima, as we know The Phenom had given MVP his first ever loss in his MMA Career, however MVP has been driven to avenge that brutal knockout defeat. Unfortunately the rematch didn't live up to any of the hype with MVP bouncing around and avoiding strikes with Douglas Lima being the aggressor throughout the entire fight and wanting to fight, Michael Venom Page would do nothing but charge forward and trip over Douglas Lima making everyone believe he dropped him with a strike. The most embarrassing and controversial moment was when MVP won via split decision with everyone part of commentator team stating even after 3rd round had ended that Douglas Lima was the clear winner. This is very similar to when Darren Till had beaten Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson in England also with the judges favoring the hometown fighter.
